They have performed with such notable acts as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles with the Motown Orchestra, The Spinners, Jackie Wilson, Jerry Butler, The Drifters, The Platters, The Clovers, Barbra Lewis, Little Richard, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Ray Stevens, The Chairman of the Board, Archie Bell and the Drells and many others.
The Poor Souls entertained such dignitaries as Senator Strom Thurmond and Senator Jesse Helms in Washington, D. C. They also played at the Southern Governors Conference with Ray Stevens. One of their greatest honors was to entertain our 40th President of the United States, President Ronald Reagan.
