I have not been able to comment on your website until now. I know you are in heaven and you are healed and in great spirit. You are such a wonderful man and I miss you so very much. I looked forward to the beginning of 2010. Hey!!! It did not happen because God needed you in heaven to work for him more than the dreams we shared. Sing your heart out and pray with all the angels for our friend butch during this time of trial. Oh how I hurt from your passing but I go on knowing that I will take care of you again when I get to heaven. Bobby I will always love you and I thank you for the wonderful years we shared together. Be sweet my precious husband and you would have been so proud of your home coming. You had so many friends and family that shared in this most wonderful event. We cried, Laughed, and had great memories and yes you sang at your own funeral. " you always said" Jane Smith I want to sing at my own funeral" Well my sweet you did it your way and it was with real class and you would have been so proud. I received so many cards and phone calls saying how much they enjoyed the home coming. Some people said "Jane I have never been at a funeral that I did not want to end" OK my precious I feel like I am talking to you and I am crying so it's time to stop. Just to let you know, I am doing OK, dealing with a few issues but don't you worry I will be OK. I love you more today and twice as much tomorrow. Jane Smith

As Bobby so often said, "git er done". Butch received his bone marrow transplant yesterday. Jus before this long awaited procedure began, Butch & a nurse sang Wonderful World and Browneyed Girl. I know Bobby had the biggest grin along those street of gold and said love you, Man. God bless Bobby, Butch, & Roger. A fan forever!!!!

Today I decided to check and see if the Poor Souls were still a band - I did not expect to see that Bobby had left us. I knew Bobby many many years ago as I was his sister-in-law then. I knew he had remarried and my heart goes out to his wife - Bobby was a hell of a guy - fun to be around and loved people. I am so sad I didn't reach out before now. Chris and Mike, I am so sorry for your loss - again your dad was a great guy who loved life and please know that God has a prupose for your dad in Heaven. We will see you again Bobby - Love, Karen
